Friday 20 March 2020

Afternoon – social golf for anyone interested, at Murray Downs Golf and Country Club
1pm – Registrations open, at Swan Hill Town Hall
5.30pm-6.40pm – Dinner at nearby restaurants (own arrangements)
6.50pm – Opening night of conference, at Swan Hill Town Hall
Opening night will include the Youth Exchange flag ceremony, and presentations from DG Rosanne and Rotary International President’s Representative PDG Jennifer Scott. Also a keynote address from John Millington ‘Thinking outside the box – Nhill and the Karen people’. Supper will be served.
9.15pm – Heartbeat of the Murray laser light show, at the Pioneer Settlement

6.50am for 7am – Breakfast at Spoons Riverside for Presidents Elect, President Nominees and Paul Harris Society. (Breakfast for other conference delegates at local cafes by own arrangements)
8.30am – Conference, at Swan Hill Town Hall
Saturday conference sessions include a keynote address from Professor Michael Sawyer on children’s mental health and a mental health panel discussion; a keynote address from Rotary Indigenous Health Project scholarship recipient James Charles; a panel discussion about the Kerang Rotary Club’s Year 12 Schoolies to Cambodia project; and a keynote address from Sarah Brown from The Purple House and a panel discussion on innovative approaches to Indigenous support. Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea served at the conference venue.
5.15pm – Buses start to collect from accommodation for dinner transport (bus transport optional)
6pm for strict 6.15pm start – Boogie at Lake Boga conference dinner, at the Lake Boga Flying Boat Museum.

8.30am - Conference, at Swan Hill Town Hall
Sunday conference sessions include DGE and DGN presentations, keynote address to be confirmed – possibly two representatives from a group that won the Nobel Peace Prize for efforts in campaigning to remove landmines.
10am – Murray River walk and riverside lunch, to raise money for local food service The Good Kitchen
Participate in a family friendly walk along the beautiful Murray River, a chance for some fellowship. Then enjoy lunch provided by The Good Kitchen, our charity of choice.
