Welcome Rotarians to the DG Newsletter. As I am typing this message, I realize how vulnerable we all are in these COVID-19 times with the announcement of 1,438 new cases in Victoria today. To all our Clubs in South Australia and Victoria, please adhere to the COVID-19 restriction requirements, get tested if you feel the need and continue to register for the vaccines. The quicker we are all double vaccinated, our opportunity to meet again will be closer.
World Polio Day 2021 is a Rotary Celebration & Revelation this year when we let everyone know how we’re helping to eradicate polio worldwide and how Rotary’s PolioPlus, End Polio Now & Global Polio Eradication Initiative began.

When her fellow Rotarian and surgeon husband John was recently diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease, Cathy realised there was a need to support professional Alzheimer’s sufferers such as John.
PALZ – Professionals with Alzheimer’s was born from the desperate need Cathy saw for those diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, and similar diseases, to maintain dignity and mental stimulus.
