Rotary District Governor 2028-2029 – call for nominees
In accordance with the 2025 Bylaws of Rotary International and the 2025 Rotary Code of Policies, District 9780 Rotary Clubs are invited to submit suggested candidates for District Governor 2028-2029. This role is of Governor of the new district following redistricting.
We invite members to nominate to be the preferred candidate for District 9780. Each of the three districts making up the new district are finding their preferred candidate. As one of the three preferred candidates, our successful candidate will then be interviewed by a combined selection committee who will decide the Governor Nominee for the new district.
Nominations close on Wednesday 30 September 2026 and should be addressed to
the chair of the D9780 selection committee PDG Kathy Rivett
