It will loo k at how far Rotary has come with PolioPlus/End Polio Now\, past present & future plus focus on the Late Effects of Polio impacting so many polio su rvivors today.  On October 25th the District will be Celebrating World Po lio Day with a Fundraising Event on Teams\, introduced by DG John Clue and hosted by Rotarian and Polio Survivor\, Gary Newton from Geelong East Rot ary.   This 45 minute online event will talk to experts such as Associ ate Professor Robert Booy at Sydney University\, an Infectious Diseases Expert\, Rotarian Ann Lee Hussey from the US\, Rotarian Ramesh Ferris  - Canada\, Rotary Ambassador and polio survivor Ade Apepitan\, BBC TV Tra vel Presenter from the UK\, who was a guest speaker at the International C onvention in Sydney in 2014 \, and some polio survivors to increase awaren ess on WPD. The webinar will also pay tribute to the architect of the Pol ioPlus program\, the late Sir Clem Renouf.
