Basic Education and Literacy is one of Rotary International’s areas of focus. September is Basic Education and Literacy Month.
The District Literary Resource Group looks to support District 9780 Rotary Clubs in reaching Rotary International’s goals to empower communities to support basic education and literacy, reduce greater disparity in education and increase adult literacy.
During 2020-2021 a Literacy Interest Group met of interested Rotarians from Rotary Clubs across the District. Rotarians were able to share / learn about projects that various clubs were involved in.
By sharing what we do with others, we may be able to assist one another / glean some ideas to take back to do in our own community.  If you are interested in joining the Literary Resource Group please contact Judy Beasley.
